(Psst, what’s this gratitude stuff all about anyway?)
Aware 5k: 3 days and counting!
This Saturday I’m running my second 5k race, the Aware 5k/10k Christmas run. I’m excited about it but also nervous! It helps that this week has been a stressful one at work, I haven’t had much time to really think about it!
Ok, ok, I’ll admit, I’ve been thinking about this upcoming run a lot! But this time, I’m more excited than I am nervous. That’s a good thing right?
Advent: 10th December
10th December: Today I am grateful for childhood jokes and general all around silliness. 😀
Advent: 9th December
9th December: Today I am grateful for @UKRunChat and the #ukrunchat hour on Sunday evenings. So many good conversations and an opportunity to ask questions and get them answered!
Advent: 8th December
8th December: Today I am grateful for a quiet evening spent in front of the fireplace. And mulled wine.
Advent: 7th December
7th December: Today I am grateful for my sweet, soft, handsome, furry, fluffy, cuddly cat, Etcetera (also answers to Sweetieheart, McStinky, McSweetie, Kitty, Handsome Lad, Goodboy, My Darling). I don’t know who I would be without him.

Music is my delight…and my running fuel!
I’m a girl who loves music and isn’t terribly fond of silence. I always have music playing when I can, either from my mp3 player or my computer, or even just in my head when I’m at work and we’re not allowed a radio. I adore music but I also have to admit I’m not that smart at knowing who is who or who sang what. I don’t read music magazines or know about obscure bands or indie tunes. I don’t even listen to the radio so I’m really not up with current stuff (I don’t have a television either).
I just know that I like what I like!
Advent: 6th December
6th December: Today I am grateful that I don’t have to worry about where my next meal is coming from. Although, it makes me sad knowing that there are people who do. I am also grateful for the opportunity to volunteer to help people in need.
